Sorry - Atlanta is full.

Atlanta has a solid music scene and an excellent airport, so I'm definitely a fan. There's a reason traffic sucks, and that's because people want to live there.

I lived in Kennesaw for a while and had to commute to the GA 400/Abernathy area. Spent a lot of time in Roswell, Alpharetta, and the northern burbs. They are all very busy but nice enough for a family. That area got hit really hard with the foreclosure crisis in 2009-2012.

ETA: That was 15 years ago now. Time is a son of a bitch.

I've since had to spend a lot of time in the Duluth area and don't like that section of town as much.

Well, and there's virtually zero public transit, and everything is spread out.

My parents benefited from this. They move to the ATL area in 2012 and bought a house in Cobb County that was foreclosed for $170k. They basically flipped it and was appraised for over $400k a year ago

I lived in Suwanee for 6 years. Bought a home in one of the subdivisions adjacent to the Chattahoochee in the North Gwinnett school district. Would do it again.
