1 Special Teams
2 The inability of the QB to anticipate WR’s coming open and throwing the ball prior to their coming open.

Here is another vital thread. We just can't live without our fans finding players to criticize.

JD was sacked 6 times in the first half, and he is the most athletic QB in the country. Ask TB, who "almost" had a perfect season, how easy it is to throw the ball laying on your back. How did PH look vs Tampa in the SB? There are memes about that. When JD has time, he is highly effective.

Serious question, did you even watch the Ole Miss or bama games? He did not burn them with his arm by any means. People don’t want to hear this, but Daniels severely limits what we can do offensively and he can’t throw the ball anywhere on the field except the sidelines. Another thing that irritates me is that he doesn’t seem to have a high football IQ and is not good with pre snap reads. Daniels has a great attitude and always gives his best effort, but this team would be much better off with someone that could give us average to slightly above average qb play. This team has exceeded expectations for year 1 of the CBK era and Daniels was never going to be more than a rental qb for a rebuilding year and most people around the program know that

I like how NONE of you MFers were posting when he light up Florida and Ole Miss and we beat Bama. You only come out with this crap when there is a bad game.

I saw a guy Saturday that had pressure in his face all game. There is also likelihood that he played sick. Couple of predictions I saw for this game also mentioned that this would have been only the 3rd cold weather game he has ever played in and he also looked bad in those games too.

I put absolutely no stock into games like this when a player has played out of character from himself in the previous games.

Seems someone worked hard to devise a thread to let everyone know of his distaste for our quarterback.

I would agree with this but can we give a shout out to Mr. Bramblett? In a game where field position was paramount, he came up aces for us.

That was a bad punt that took a good bounce

Which teams in America wouldn't take the reigning Heisman winner, the reigning NCG player of the year, a top 10 QB pick next year, and the hottest QB in college football over the past two seasons over their existing starting QB? The kid is a winner. Fans like you keep griping about a supermodel because she doesn't also hold a job as a neurosurgeon. Give me a break. If he was so easy to defend, everyone would have the same game plan, and we wouldn't be heading to Atlanta. As for football IQ, I sat in the stands at Florida in 2006 and listened to their fans talk about how Chris Leak was such a good athlete with no football IQ. They only won the natty that year. Leak and JD have something in common that makes people say that about them, but I cannot figure out what it is. What do you think it is? Did Rohan have the same problem?

You stupid son of a bitch.

Accuracy he’s like 68%. Decision making, he has thrown two picks all year. He’s no Joe Burrow, but dumbasses like you were just waiting for a poor game to start bitching about him again, even though we won the game.

I’m not going to disparage you for you’re opinion but how many times has JD thrown for for 300+ yards and 3+ TD’s? I rest my case. he is a physically gifted athlete with below average QB instinct and average football IQ. I’m no analyst or scout but my observations are:
Poor pocket presence
Cannot recognize the receiver that will come open and deliver the ball before or on the break.
Does not find a way to throw out of bounds to avoid the sack
He cannot check down or change a play whether he is not given that le is away by coach or can’t grasp or recognize it is unknown, but still it’s a liability to the offense.
There are a few more but this is enough. Don’t get me wrong I want him to succeed and improve more but feel free to show me your proof he is elite.

I would 100% take these guys as my starting qb over Daniels and I think our team’s offense would be much better with any of them taking snaps: Bryce Young Hendon Hooker Stetson Bennett Will Levis

Forget the ridiculous hype around his measurables. Will Levis fricking sucks and UK’s offense is arse. I wouldn’t trade him for Daniels in a million years. At least Daniels can balance some of his deficiencies with his ability to run.

I would take Young or Hooker without a second thought, as I’m sure anyone in their right mind would. I’d probably take Bennet, but I’m not sure he’d be as effective without UGA’s OL and TEs.

Amen brother.

people on here just can’t wait to pounce on Daniels when given the opportunity. These guys really want to hate him so bad. It’s pretty sad

Playcalling - Way too many long pass tries with Daniels in the pocket. Time and time again Daniels is indecisive and afraid to throw the ball. What works is when we roll him out of the pocket and hit short, quick passes. Way too many runs by Daniels and not enough by the running backs.
