What happened to the show horse that was making millions of dollars touring the country? Did the kid break its legs too?
Also the folks at reddit astutely observed that Beth's perusing of the 6666 beef site was no mistake, since Sheridan is a co-owner of the Ranch. Nothing like a little free marketing...

Taylor Sheridan convinced John to put up a couple million for him go travel around and compete with.
Sheridan loaded up the horses and drove himself out the plot, never to be heard of again.
Not a problem. John forgot about it anyway and the millions he invested.
