I personally like the man but I also understand there’s tens of millions of Americans who can’t separate his personality flaws from his America First policies….and they never will.

Trump is to be commended for having the courage to step up and confront the LWO Globalists in 2016. Trump also showed conservatives how to pushback against the establishment squishy Recucklicans and radical Dims. The America First movement is now much bigger than Trump and will continue forward regardless if Trump is the nominee in 2024 or someone else.

Do we graciously thank Trump for his invaluable contributions in forming the MAGA/America First movement and move on or do we stick it out with Trump knowing the 2024 election could be a very difficult election with Trump’s unpredictability?

I’m gonna vote Republican regardless of who gets the nomination for president as long as it’s not a cognitively impaired geriatric or a recovering stroke patient.

Don't go with the consensus. Follow your heart, guts and head.

I ain’t worried what a vocal few on this SEC football website’s political sub forum chirp about.

Trump ‘24
Desantis ‘28

Trump can't win moderates and Republicans can't win national elections without moderates, it's that simple

No. That's the OT-invading-the-PT's consensus. And any of the historical never-Trumpers that have lived on this board.

I think DeSantis probably gives Republicans the best chance to win but I don’t know if he can beat Trump if he even chooses to take him on.

But, moreover, I think Republicans have much more serious, fundamental problems than Trump v DeSantis, to the point that it doesn’t matter which one is the nominee.

Depends who runs against him. I listen to policies first before picking a candidate

We need to wait until we find out how the midterms ultimately play out. We could have majorities in both chambers. We've got one for sure. So that's progress. My problem with yesterday is that I expected bigger numbers so we underperformed if you ask me. Is that a reflection on Trump?.. kind of. He made his endorsements and the dems put him on the ballot in a multitude of ways. What I really want to know is how his endorsements played out in the battleground states. If they did well there then Trump still has his mojo. If things went poorly it might be time to move on.

What I know for sure is the infighting happening right now is a drag on the party morale and splintering us when we need to be unified in message and in backing a candidate. The soul searching period we're going to go through is going to suck. Hopefully we stick together to the end of it.

I think it’s time for Trump to move on as much as I hate to say it. A lot of idiots out there think he’s too arrogant and would rather Pedo Joe in the White House. I still find it hard to believe that Biden got the most votes in history. Alot of that was mail in votes filled out by DNC members.

Let them fight it out, and let the primaries resolve it. That's what they are for.

Problem is...

1. If Trump wins out then the never Trumpers and the the Desantis folks will not vote for Trump in full.

2. The Trump folks will vote in full for Desantis if he wins out.

Good policies
Abrasive personality
Not great at setting a vision
Way too egotistical

I’d much prefer DeSantis moving forward.

No. The media has already shifted to denouncing the MAGA movement as it’s bigger than Trump. If Desantis gets the nomination, he’ll get hammered with questions about whether he supports MAGA.

I’m done with Trump. I’ve been on the Trump train his entire presidency. But I have had about enough.

He had his time, he made his mark and I think he showed that fighting back can be effective.. but it’s time to move on.
