What are your thoughts on beer in Tiger Stadium after a few seasons?

I have no strong opinions either way. I have enjoyed a few cold beers on occasion especially when it’s hot.

I have also noticed it can be rather annoying when the people around you are obnoxiously drunk in the third quarter. Had a lady spill almost an entire beer on me.

I'm sure it reduces people sneaking in whiskey by a larger margin

Glad it’s available. Don’t personally buy it.

I find that it keeps a lot of people from getting near-blackout drunk before going into the games. Have a kid that sits behind us and he would routinely be almost to the point of passing out or throwing up.

Now that he can buy beer he still drinks but not to excess before coming into games.

Glad they have it for the occasional times I want beer (day games) but it definitely is not a game changer for me.

I find it worthless. The price is way too much, and the selection consists of piss water and white trash. I stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings before going to the Ole Miss game had 2 tall craft beers and the wife had 2 mixed drinks for $20 after tax and tip. I couldn't get 2 doodoo arse michelobs for $20 at the game ffs.

My routine before every game when I get inside is getting two beers and the largest water they have. One beer each quarter in the first half then the water the second half.

Perfect set up to offset my drinking before the game.

1) I'm amazed at how many people will pay that price for beer.

2) It has not affected fan behavior in a bad way. If anything, there have probably been less fights in the stands. People are sneaking less hard liquor in.

3) Restroom lines have doubled. LSU gave no thought to the increased pee pressure.

I have found that the selections and prices are too varied. There are too many different “businesses” selling beer. $9 for a 16 Oz draft one place, $11.25 for a goddamn 16 Oz. Bud Light aluminum bottle somewhere else.

Hand out the beer concession for bid. I’m fine if it’s either Bud or Miller (each will bring its own “craft beers”). That way we can have uniform sizes and prices.

Hell, a beer at Jerry World is still $9.

On a hot day, it’s tough to have to buy a beer and a water and it costs over $20.

I love it. And the beer lines are always long so clearly everyone else does too

Beer option is fine. People appear to enjoy it.. I am ok with a bourbon shower now and then on key plays from the students but also have been hit twice with cans recently…

Saw a players mom get hit with a half full can last game… she was not happy at all… students should be a little more considerate with their cans.

I don’t know if it’s a generational thing or kids these days have acorns for bladders, but there’s a group of young people (21-29 my guess) that shows up late, holding 3-6 bud lights, crawls over before 2Q, again in 2Q, 3 times in the 3Q, and then they just leave finally by mid 4Q.

So I watch others do the same thing. Some folks just cannot sit still. Yes TV timeouts are a bitch, but they’re the perfect time to crawl past and interrupt the rest of us since we’re not doing anything. I blame the beer. The need to keep drinking followed by the much needed piss breaks.

Last weekend, these same kids with their female significant others crawled over us moments before Bama scored, and then the rest of them tried to crawl over moments before LSU scored. We were all like “hold the hell on”. Watch the game and pay attention to the game play.

I don’t care about the beer or the people crawling around and not watching that much but doing it while the play is in motion pisses me off. But I don’t find the experience any more enjoyable being able to buy a lukewarm beer for $11.

Way too expensive, but that didn’t surprise me. I’m also cheap as hell.

Tiger Stadium with beer and bourbon spills rolling down the Stadium is so damn old school great. Beer in the stadium is wonderful for any of us from Acadiana

The no cash/card only policy is a pain in the arse.
I had to have something to chase that Elijah Craig though.

I’m done with the overpriced alcohol. I just bring some bud into the game, and go smoke under the concourse at halftime

LSU has determined the profits outweigh any potential negatives so I am fine with it.
