SEC champ not a lock for top 4.
Georgia could lose SEC champ, as they did to Alabama and both were in top four. If LSU loses another game and then beats Georgia a three loss LSU would not be in top four but one loss Georgia certainly would,

Their supporters tout that they have beaten four top 25 teams, but three of those teams have fallen pretty far since they have played them. They have beaten #18 Oklahoma by 31 points, #19 Kansas by 7 points, #8 Oklahoma State by 3 in double OT, and #17 Kansas State by 10 points. You could argue that the first three teams were over-rated. They will get a good test this week traveling to #18 Texas.

LSU went thru the gauntlet and have steadily improved.
I’m hopefully we win out, but even if LSU does I’m afraid these sorry SO s are gonna find a way to frick us out the playoffs.

Alrighty. I expect the Bama, Florida, and Georgia grads to start working hard to discredit, diminish, and downplay LSU over the next few weeks if we keep winning. The more we win the louder their whining will get.
Expect McElroy, Pollack, and Tebow to all sound like whining babies over the airwaves at any and every opportunity.

They are not going to put two non-champs from the SEC in ahead of LSU in that scenario. There is also no way Tennessee gets in ahead of Georgia. LSU, Georgia and Tennessee would all be 1-1 against each other at that point, so one head-to-head result isn’t going to trump the others. The conference championship will be a differentiator.
