Unfortunately I do not believe this. I believe Trumpers will sit out and pout if he doesn’t get the nomination for some reason.

Agreed, I could probably count Trump supporters who would vote Biden over DeSantis on one fricking hand.
While conservatives will have differing opinions on who has a better shot at getting elected, they're going to vote for Trump or DeSantis over whatever the Democrats field.
