Freshman Mom visiting during Alabama game. Can I get in on Death Valley tailgate?

When i was a freshman living in the dorm, a game i played was, can i get drunk by the time i walked to my tailgate across campus... So i would start walking and every tailgate i passed i would strike up a convo and would get offered a beer and food.

I won the game every time.

The best tailgating is between the stadium and the parade grounds. Just wear a sign that says “I’m a yankee” and you will be offered plenty of food.


I know Maryland is in the south.

From your posts I think all you need to do is be yourself and there will be young men tripping over themselves to help you out. Hope your freshman loves showing you his/her new life. This retired gentleman fondly remembers his introduction to LSU life.
