My 100 buck offer will stand, unless the economy goes south, then we have to drop that down to 25 bucks for chinese crap.

I'm just a fan of good guitars, regardless of brand/builder, price, or any of the other pretensions surrounding an instrument.

I like big, boomy traditional dreadnoughts that project well so that obviously plays into my preferences quite a bit.

My go to guitars currently are a Martin D18 Custom Shop and a D28 herringbone style guitar that was built literally 30 minutes from my house by a local luthier.

I feel that Eastman gets a bad rap, especially by people who have never even owned/played one simply because they're manufactured in China. That said, I can't think of any other Chinese built guitar that I'd recommend, a lot of folks like Blueridge but they don't really appeal to me.

However, if someone chooses to write off a particular builder without even knowing anything about them, that is their prerogative and really only hurts them in the end.
