The sound is obviously different and reminds me more of a Collings.

The new Bourgeois Touchstone line is produced as a partnership between both builders and is intended as a "middle ground" line between Eastman's standard line and Bourgeois' boutique builds. They compete with the price point of a new Martin.

I personally have never purchased either a new Martin or Eastman but have owned several used models from both and have played dozens of models from both builders.

That's fine.
Your Chinese guitars are still worth 100 bucks.

I don't know, I've only ever put one up for sale and it went for $1300.
