I must denote that when I say I think they're just as good as a Martin, I'm referring to both craftsmanship and materials.

The sound is obviously different and reminds me more of a Collings.

The new Bourgeois Touchstone line is produced as a partnership between both builders and is intended as a "middle ground" line between Eastman's standard line and Bourgeois' boutique builds. They compete with the price point of a new Martin.

I personally have never purchased either a new Martin or Eastman but have owned several used models from both and have played dozens of models from both builders.
