Thin Lizzy, Dec.1979 at the VBCC in Huntsville Al.
They were an opener for Bad Company, along with Eddie Money who played first.
They absolutely killed it that night. It took Bad Company a long time to come out. I think they needed to let the mood die down.
I had only heard them a little bit, but after that show, I was a huge Thin Lizzy fan.

I saw them open for Queen a couple years before that. You are correct in how good they are/were then. Still love 'em today
