I had it when I was 16,71 now.I was having horrific sinus infections before.I have never had another sinus infection since.
Still can’t breathe well through my nostrils but at least no more infections.

Side story-I woke up during the surgery.The Dr.was blurry like an apparition,had a rod down my nose hammering on it,felt like it was coming out the back of my head and was the last thing I remembered.
When I went back to get the packing removed the Dr. asked me if I remembered anything during the surgery.I told him what I had experienced.He said I went wild,took everybody in surgery dept. to get me under control.First they got cloth restraints on me and I broke out of those,then they put leather restraints on me.
I don’t remember any of that.

Obviously they didn’t use paralytic drugs in those days.Glad they didn’t,that would have been a horrific experience to be lying there with chiseling going on and not be able to move.
