Social media and message boards overreact at low critic scores only for most audience members to actually like a film? It’s almost as if critics are completely out of touch with the GA and take themselves too seriously.

I, for one, am shocked at this development. Who could have predicted?

John campea said the dialogue is some of the worst in a marvel film but the action scenes with the rock really carry the movie

It’s wild to think that people think critics can be bought but “audiences” will rate it fresh for a free tickets to their next movie.

Point being, all of these metrics are meaningless in 2022. It’s like Twitter. Full of bots.

Outside of Captain Marvel, which is one of the more poorly reviewed marvel movies from the past decade, when is this true?

Is there some collective audience that considers Morbius a masterpiece that I'm not aware of? Eternals is the worst-reviewed MCU film. Do audiences actual love this slog?

A re edit of Eternals would do it wonders.

Neat. Just give me straight up Captain Marvel fan service and I'm happy.

#BlackAdam electrified domestic BoxOffice, solid 7.6M on THU previews, vs #Shazam??5.9M, #Sonic2 6.3M & #F9’s 7.1M.
#2 biggest previews for WB during Pandemic era,beating #SecretsOfDumbledore’s 6M,only under #TheBatman’s.

Could dream of 70M opening in case of solid audiences WOM.

People love the Rock
People like action
People like superhero movies.

This probably isn’t citizen Kane but it’s probably good mindless fun.

I am about halfway through and it's not terrible. But this Atom Crusher is just wearing a fricking Deadpool outfit

Gotta love the audience scores posted before any voting audience has had a chance to see the movie.

I thought it was actually a really good movie. If people sit and try to nitpick every little thing then they won’t enjoy any movie.
I went into it excited to see Shazam’s big bad, I’m a fan of The Rock, and in general I prefer DC over Marvel so I had expectations of it being a movie I’d like, despite critic scores. I went with my brother and his friend and we all enjoyed it

I went on opening night and there were a couple of groups outside the screen room giggling and chattering like they’d just walked out of a great Spider-Man movie. Some people are going to really dig this movie. I thought it was ok.

I enjoyed watching it last night. Pierce Brosnan was great as Dr Fate the other Justice Society characters were refreshingly different to see on screen outside of hawk man being a little too Black Panther in the beginning and the Deadpool mask of Atom Smasher.

The things I didn’t care for was the constant 300esque slow motion scenes and the dialogue being quite cringey at times but overall it’s a very solid superhero movie.

89% audience score. I doubt I watch it though. DC movies usually suck.
