JD is not the answer now, and he won't be next year either. He will not be the starter next year nor likely on the team. He is not capable of being a good qb in the sec. If he is starting next year we will have same results passing and Kelly will quickly go to hot seat.

I am member of the 24/7 board and not one of the writers has said this. Ever. They have talked about his potential but none of the writers have stated that today, Walker is performing better than Jayden or even Nussmeir.

He won't be the starter, I'm not sure about him leaving though. He can't play immediately if he goes the FBS route but he can take a RS I think.

So team is depleted in depth everywhere so much so we can’t field competent special teams but at the same time we have a coach making agreements to redshirt kids

Walker was injured coming out of high school too. I think giving him a year to gain confidence in the position and his body is smart. I do think he needs real snaps this season. Would be a waste of the redshirt allowance if not.

No, but OP has already compared him to Bryce Young. Burrow comp coming by the end of spring practice.
