I know a guy who went to college for four years and majored in whatever degree it is you need to be a park ranger and/or (I think) game warden. He never worked a day in either field. The last I knew of him he worked at US Steel in Fairfield until he got laid off. Not sure what he's doing now. Last I heard of him he and his wife had a small junk store but that closed down before COVID.
