Nick Saban was 50 years old in 2002 in his third year of his second head coaching job.
Brian Kelly is 60 years old in his first year of his fifth head coaching job.
Maybe a better comparison would be Saban at Bama, not LSU.

Fair enough. In Saban’s first year at Bama, they went 7-6, and lost to Louisiana-Monroe.
