You sure defend Daniels at all cost. Wonder why?
Christ, some of you are miserable.

If/when I and others defend Daniels, it's because people are hysterically blaming him for everything.

Daniels is not great. He's looked better than Nussmeier when they both played in games.

Daniels is not the sole reason we've lost 2 games. The losses are team losses, and a different QB wouldn't have fixed the problems.

We've had disasters trying to return kicks, we've been unable to establish any sort of consistent running game, our preseason All American WR has been MIA, our starting TE seems to catch at around a 50% rate, only Nabers has shown any sort of consistency.
Our defense has improved from game 1, but still seems to get burned a couple times a game. Our secondary is about average (below typical LSU standards), and we seem to have one linebacker (the freshman Perkins) who's good.

This is not a playoff caliber team, we're probably going to be destroyed by Alabama. We look to match up ok with Arky, Fla, A&M, could win or lose vs those. Ole Miss, I suspect trouble, simply because Kiffen knows how to score points.

Kelly is not holding this team back, and Daniels isn't the reason we've lost.

People need to get realistic and hope for 8-4, that would be a great 1st season of a massive rebuild.

Miserable? Dude I'm objective. He can't read a defense presnap, has no idea where pressure is coming. He therefore never knows to go to hot read...even if he could see them. Players are open, but he is looking for 4-5 yards open...ain't happening without a bust. He tucks way too early...and now that defenses are wising up it is worse.

I'm not miserable. Apparently we aren't watching the same progression of our QB. No line will look good with a loaded box because zero down field passing threat. Nuss looked terrible against Southern, trying to press, but you aren't being honest about other times because he looked good against NM and Auburn despite the drops...and he has a higher upside as a freshman...Daniels is what he is now. You guys hate objective. I have no idea whether nuss will ever cut it, still years left to play and young. I do know Daniels won't improve at this point.

The quarterback always gets the credit, or blame. Every offensive play goes through the QB.
Who gets mentioned most on our championship teams.
Who gets most of the blame when we fail.
Daniels is not enough of a complete player to carry the team.
