Very short sighted to cling to Daniels like something's gonna improve. We all agree this is a rebuild so take advantage of the opportunity to give other guys some playing time.
Here is another way to assess our QB situation and team status. We just played a QB with a pretty full package of skills. I dont classify him as elite yet, time will tell, but I do have him as pretty darn good.
So how well do you think he would do with this OL, RB, and WR group? I think even with our poor evaluation of the OL and RBs that he would do pretty good or better than our current situation...

I disagree. I watched about 1 1/2 hours of film study last night on every offensive snap for LSU vs Tennessee. It was very interesting at just how often JD either completely missed seeing an open WR, saw him and didn't have the confidence to make the pass, or saw him much too late and held on to the ball.
For those saying Denbrock sucks, LSU actually had numerous plays where there was a guy wide open but the ball rarely went to him. JD is simply not processing the offense fast enough and isn't seeing the whole field. His accuracy is bad and he throws a lot of wobbly passes. He has no timing with his receivers. He made a few nice throws against Tenn but missed many more that would've been big gains had they been on target or had he thrown the ball.
Everything the film study showed leads me to believe he's a decent QB but the speed of the game in the SEC is too fat for him. The defenders are too fast and close quicker than he's used to. The SEC is a defensive conference and it's pretty obvious he has no clue what looks defenses are giving him.
