If it was so close of a competition then give Nuss a chance. I see frustration all over the faces of our offense. JD can’t read defense to me, to quick to run, and is very inaccurate. Sometimes a new man gives and extra drive to players, this is looking so much like the Jordan Jefferson / Jarrett Lee days!!

Until proven otherwise, he's the best we got. Nuss hasn't shown me much in live action. Howard will be redshirted, and will be a lot better off for it.

LSU has nothing to lose and everything to gain by playing either Nuss or Howard. One or both are going to be gone at the end of the season if they don't play. They cannot improve standing on the sidelines.
They may screw up, but so be it. Are we saying that JD doesn't? If JD is our only QB this year, then he will be our QB next year, Nuss and or Howard will be gone, and our next QB in 2024 will be a freshman or RS freshman or a transfer that couldn't start somewhere else. This really isn't a tough decision unless BK thinks we are going to win the SEC with JD. And that is delusional.
