It can be, though. When everyone thought it couldn't be worse than Jordan Jefferson, Jarrett Lee came in and started throwing out pick-6s like cheap Halloween candy.

Coaches see these guys everyday in practice and Nuss is apparently bad enough that they played with the idea of giving Howard snaps vs New Mexico prior to the Daniels injury. Personally I think you have to pay attention to context clues. The fact that they’ve been so reluctant to go to Nuss, then when they had to go to him vs Auburn they went so conservative is telling for what they think about Nuss.

It can be, JD is not a very good QB and even worse with our OL. If you don't get good play from the OL then you won't get good play from any of our QB's.
