That says a lot bad about the coach then.

Well he's the one that'll make the call for QB next year.
If he's seen enough between Auburn and this week to keep going with him then it's going to take a Daniels turning the ball over to give anyone else a chance. Jayden just won't take shots and no problem.

I think Denbrock and Kelly want a QB that can move, Daniels will finish this year and unless Walker unseats him (2nd year vs 6th year) I think he'll start next year as well
If that's true, they'll be playing in front of an overflow crowd of 40,000 people

He can say whatever he wants in the post game In game he was screaming at him to take 1 On 1 shots.
Yeah he screamed at him. He always kept sending him out there. He must have been happy enough to keep playing him

Kelly has LSU by the gonads for another $85 million and is not going anywhere even if we end this season with 7 losses in a row, tank recruiting and lose every game next season.
Fat Boy Money Bags done us good.

So Nuss, Howard and Daniels are your options next year. I think it's safe to say they're not going to go with Nuss over Daniels.
I think he for aure will grab a qb out the portal.

Brian Kelly is Les Miles with bad special teams. It’s going to be a rough 6-7 years.

I’m ready to blow it all up. Admit we made a mistake and beg Aranda to come and pair him with a young offensive mind to develop Howard.
Luckily, the people actually making decisions are not emotionally immature children.

If Daniels is QB next year it’ll look just like this year. His stats will be decent but we will lose games because and win games in spite of him

Kelly said today that the only thing good about the offense was the QB.

He's not tanking us on purpose. I think Kelly believes that Jaydens legs are our best option for right now to win with our young Oline.
Problem is - since he's the only one getting reps then next year he'll be the best option to win right now with that team as well. Nuss essentially isn't being given a shot because he was too aggressive in mop up duty one time.
Everyone in this thread is hoping Walker takes over next year including me. But he's entering his 2nd and Jayden his 6th year.
That's going to be a lot of experience for Howard to overcome.
I think Howard is our best chance at a title in the long run but I think next year they'll start Jayden because he'll be the safer bet with the higher floor but lower ceiling.

If he starts next season I will not go out of my way to watch. I am not saying I won't watch, because I am a fan through tough times, but I sure won't plan around it.
That would be horrible.

Maybe Walker is just that dude. But I think he's going to have to force the coaches hand. If it's close they're gonna go with the veteran who doesn't turn the ball over.
They value time of possession and turnovers not explosive plays.
They're major issue is going to be - we saw what this offense can look like with its playmakers.
Yeah we don't have Joe Burrow but this same set of guys with Myles Brennan in a Joe Brady style scheme - we score a hell of a lot more than 13 today and no chance in hell we're held below 200 yards passing vs Auburn, much less 90.

He won't be here. Kelly knows this isn't good enough but he doesn't feel like he has any other choice right now with the makeup of this team. It will be Nuss or Howard next year.
Where do you think JD will be?
