Cincinnati only played one or two tough games per year usually. Denbrock's offense put up just over 200 yards and just 6 points against Bama in the playoff game. The Peetz offense managed to put up 14 on Bama last year with Max Johnson playing terrible.

Not saying it's all Denbrock's fault, but his playcalling had been very predictable.

Have you watched Ole Miss this year? They’re a defensive team.

And when they played Bama last year, they scored 6 points.

go watch the damn film study of that game. you are clueless they had many great plays dialed up that they could not execute on.

His offenses worked because they had players far better than their routine schedule.

no that is the les miles style. get studs, stay vanilla and predictable and still ram in down your throat with toss dives all day.

denbrock has good concepts. go watch his film studies moron.

I mean they were clearly physically outmatched by Bama in many areas even if the Bama d had a "down" year. Last season Cincinnati averaged almost 37 ppg and 500 yards per game. I think once this current recruiting class is the foundation of the team we will look much much better on offense. At the end of the day it's Kelly's offense so I am just going to see how it looks once we have players he recruited on the team and with some experience.

We have guys like Howard coming in at QB with Sampson to catch it and Campbell and Emory blocking for him. We need a true center as well. There's just a lot of missing pieces in key parts of this team. It is what it is. I will hold any harsh judgment about any of the coaches, except polian, until at least next year. Polian just can't get it done with ST. He's around because of recruiting I know but we gotta hire someone to help that dude out if we're sticking with him.

Correct and the team didn't do that and 2 of those tend to be a product of coaching.

Do you realize how ignorant you are?

Let’s look at your three points that you say are coaching:

quote:

discipline

Shitty players don’t have discipline
quote:

whooping the guy in front of you

Shitty players don’t have the skill to do this no matter how much you are “coached”
quote:

executing

Shitty players can’t execute

Y’all really don’t understand how ignorant y’all are.

None of this can be fixed by a coaching staff. When you put shite in (shitty players) you get a shite product.

I wish our fan base was just a little educated. Just a little bit.

Ok. So please stop spouting off if you don’t know what you’re taking about.

Please. Do us all of a favor and stop making our fan base look like backwards arse idiots.

I concede Dembrock’s offense was somewhat predictable today, but you can’t blame him for all the dropped passes, or JD’s inability for o fire the ball downfield to wide open wrs. #10 dropped a sure TD pass today.

I know more football than you ever will jack arse! I know Kiff went from a pass dominant attack to a very creative running attack this year. Look Denbock sucks. He sucked at ND, sucked at Cincinnati, and sucks here

Discipline has nothing to do with coaching? Did you say the same when O was here?

Did you say execution was on players not the coaches with the last regime?

I'm not going to make excuses for Ed's failures. Don't make excuses when these coaches don't get the team mentally prepared. The season is half over. We shouldn't be seeing week one mistakes at the same rate.

Problem is the QB play and leadership. Ridder could make adjustments at the line and read a defense. He also threw the ball confidently and decisively.

Daniels is entirely the opposite in all those categories. I think the problem is they are thinking too much about what his legs bring and just settling for what the negatives are.

He has potential, but I think a lot of the playcalling is expecting Daniels to develop and be a QB instead of an athlete with a good arm.

I like our 2 run plays

1) Read option dive
2) Jayden waits 8 seconds in the pocket then scrambles for 4 yards

The QB/OL situation leaves a lot to be desired, but he's been very underwhelming. His inability to scheme for our playmakers and lack of creativity in the run game have been puzzling.

A huge portion of our plays are wasted by not being able to see open receivers and him taking off or getting sacked, and drops on top of drops. The play calling is suspect at times but sometimes it will work and shite just doesn’t work out the way it’s supposed to.

No! I just think he is calling plays that the QB we have cant grasp or execute.
