Williams isn't as open as that screen shot leads you to believe. I think Malik is the best case for what Daniels needs to improve on. When Daniels finished his drop Malik wasn't open. but two shuffles of the feet and you have to get that ball out.

It's probably only a 5 yard gain if it's completed, and Malik isn't as open as the screen shot leads you to believe either (go watch the Skycam for reference) but if you get that ball out at the right time you can complete it and maybe Malik makes a man miss and picks up some additional yards.

The issue is, by the time Daniels was ready to deliver the ball Malik wasn't open any longer, and he never made it to his fourth progression. That throw out to Jaray would have been difficult regardless. I have been adamant all week that it's a WR and a QB problem, but this particular play it was more on Daniels than the receivers.
