After UGA tied the game late in the fourth in 2003, the crowd started chanting LSU-LSU like it had a hive mind. It got the players pumped for sure. Then of course- Mauck to Green for the game winner.

Pumped up the players but also intimidated UGA or at least sucked out any joy or confidence they may have gained from the score. Mark Richt, their HC at the time, basically admitted he couldn’t believe the response. It was basically like punching somebody dead in the mouth and they just shrugged and smiled. You know what’s coming next. . .

This is my favorite sports memory ever. It was an unbelievable moment that I wish had become some kind of tradition every time an opponent scored in a pivotal moment. I 100% believe that chanting shook UGA.
