By no means has Daniels been horrible. But LSU's offense has been far from explosive and very reliant on the defense to keep them in games (and score) until the offense can do just enough get in a position to win (usually late). When you score 3, 7, 7, first half points in the 3 games you play against decent competition (but by no means great) you put a lot of stress on your defense.
Daniels is last in the SEC in yards per attempt and LSU only has one WR (Nabers) in the top 30 of the league in receiving yards. When the WR group is thought to be the most talented group on the offense, maybe the team, you have to find ways to get them the ball consistently. Daniels' running ability should be an added weapon...not the primary offensive course of attack.
For YEARS Les Miles prioritized avoiding turnovers at the expense of an explosive offense. The result was largely unmet potential. I'd gladly take a few interceptions here and there if the pay off was 250+ ypg and 2-3 TDs per game.

The defense is going to be seriously challenged by tebn.
Wish major burns wasn't hurt.
Going to have to stick a spy on hooker.
Baskerville or perkins will have to step up.
