Every year the back up QB is the answer. At least there are some constants in life; death, taxes, and the back up being the better QB to the rant. I don’t care how ugly the wins are as long as they keep coming. Geaux Tigers.

Apparently based on his performance against the juggernaut that is New Mexico.

This board wanted Howard as backup after the Southern game.

Hmmm

Pocket awareness
Quick release
Checks down to multiple receivers if 1st option isn’t open
Is a QUARTERBACK, not a throwing running back

But you keep pretending Daniels is good based on his stat sheet. I’ll use my eyes.

Jesus, no one is saying he’s a first rounder. A lot of teams use those “throwing running backs” in college. He’s kept us in a lot of games with his ability to make things happen when the pocket breaks down with a young OL.

You guys are absolutely ridiculous wanting to bench our starter going into the heart of our schedule. Everyone has to get better, including Daniels.

Honestly, it’s based on coach O saying he looked good in practice last year.

Nuss is none that and its a reason he is #2 QB behind MB and JD so keep using your so called eyes. Use those same eyes and look up Nuss stats and you tell me what that pocket awareness gets you. His QBR says none of that you just typed. JD is better I now it hurts you but there is nothing you can do about. I will take 4-1 #25 rank with a so called running back playing QB

In this case the backup may very well be the answer. JD hasn’t played good at all in 2 games against SEC teams. Here his stats through 2 games against SEC teams.
Auburn is a bad team and MSU has a bad defense. The backup may be better suited for the rest of the year.

30-57; 52%
290 yards
1TD
Sacked 6 times
32 carries 152 yards
2 rushing TD’s.

This team fights to win. That's what I ask of our young men. Fight!
