I didn't mean entire state. I just meant in some states. I don't know every district in every state so I just named the state that it happened.

Like in Penn and almost Tenn. I don't know the actual districts this happened in. I'm sure it was red as hell.

Like here I said Tenn because it was in Tenn. Ya boy over here with the gotcha you meant whole state is going hard tho.

No he cannot because it isn’t true. He lied to enhance his argument. It’s best he be ignored from here on out.

You said states banned the books and you produced one school district that no longer has a ban.

My work is done here

I mean Penn is a state, and it happened in that state.

So yes in Pennsylvania.

I see your little semantic argument tho.

Since no one told me, I'm going to assume you meant how off topic I got.

So I agree with that I quit.

I did not think I would be moved by the experience, but I was. I think mainly because that devotion really does not exist today. That fighting spirit is in short supply, as evidenced by the way the leviathan government rolls unopposed.

Unfortunately we have to go back into bondage before spiritual faith and courage return us to liberty.

It's known as calling someone on their bullshite. Don't blame him for your sloppy attempt at an argument.

I believe Hank was pointing out that HE is usually the contrarian voice in these discussions. You coming into this thread so hot turned him into a member/defender of the majority. That’s what was ironic to me and perhaps him too.

I meat at this point yall think teaching about slavery is propaganda, so...

Just curious, but what year would your preferred story of slavery start?

Would you be ok with teaching inner city kids about slavery well before it became about race ?

Would you be ok with teaching kids that slavery started with white people owning other white people until African tribesmen decided to embrace an early version of black on black crime? That there was an Uncle Zulu well before an Uncle Tom?

Would you be ok with teaching kids that slavery of people regardless of skin color was a worldwide norm until right around the 18th century?

Would you also be ok with teaching kids that the mindset at the time was kind of like pet ownership today where we don’t think anything of owning another life and keeping them within our confines?

Would you be ok with teaching kids that even freed slaves decided to buy, own, and manage slaves after they were freed?

Would you be ok teaching kids that decades after American blacks were freed from slavery, white people were still being bought and sold in the Ottoman Empire?

One of the biggest lessons of slavery not well discussed is how the issue transformed for political reasons into an American issue. The most remarkable thing about it was that it was abolished in this country during a time when there is no historical record of similar rejection in Africa, Asia, or the Middle East. Yet we remain largely silent in our teaching on the topic. It’s as if we’re trying to teach future generations to become anti-Americans.

The take-away I hope you’re getting from this is that most clear thinking people have no issue with teaching the history of slavery, it’s the very selective teaching of history that we take issue with. When all of the above facts about slavery are kept out of the lesson, the teaching of slavery absolutely becomes propaganda.

I need to reinforce your comment about goliad. Its a historical monument that provides a real visual presentation about the Santa Anna war. The good guys surrendered and were quickly executed. Santa Anna got busted at San Jacinto, and was a allowed to return to Mexico. Santa Anna and all of his officers should have been executed, they were not
