This Defense is as real as it gets!

So far this season, facing a similar strength of schedule, LSU has only allowed just 3 more yards than Georgia.

I am optimistic about the defense but can we hold judgment till after the Tennessee game. Incremental improvement is evident along with good tackling and good communication out there

It was impressive what the D has done the last two weeks but I looked at New Mexicos box scores and Boose state held them to 123 yards earlier this season. Not saying what they did wasn't impressive but Tennessee will be the real litmus test for sure.

Not sure about that. Smith has the nfl body and all, but Wingo might be a better college player. I absolutely want Smith in the rotation but Wingo is a special college player.

New Mexico had the 2nd to last ranked offense coming into last week…so it was kind of expected for us to dominate. Tennessee will definitely test us and expose the middle. Loving the progress we are making weekly though.

I’d really like to see us hold auburn to less than 10. If special teams isn’t a disaster, I think that’s pretty realistic.
