How big of an impact will he be after his suspension ends this week? Glad he gets a game to get his feet wet before pass heavy UT.

I’m not sure he’ll be anything other than a depth piece this year. I guess he might be a more natural free safety than Brooks but the secondary has played well this far.

We need him. He's a bigger body so I feel like he can play in a S/LB role and help with the underneath and over the middle stuff. That would give us Baskerville, Perkins and Foucha and then you have Burns and Brooks over the top. Ward, Bernard-Converse and Garner have been holding their own.

Well right off the bat provides very needed depth. With Banks and or Ward being banged up he can fill in. Also allows House, which he has shown a great job in doing already, lining guys up in different spots and being more versatile with Sage, Ward, and Brooks. But most importantly adds another transfer depth piece that has SEC starting experience.

I'm happy to see Sage start to make plays. I'm surprised Davis hasn't gotten more playing time, but we do have a good bit of experience ahead of him.

He's an extremely experienced guy from Arkansas who was a leader there from most accounts I've seen and got better each year. He's not necessarily going to light things up but he will provide very good depth in the safety room for us which we will always need throughout the season as guys get dinged and whatnot. I think he's the first safety off the bench if Burns or Brooks got dinged up. We already saw Burns go down at end of MSU game, so anything can happen at any point. Next man up. It's good to have a guy like Foucha you can turn to.

He could get time in front of Brooks at safety as thats what he played at Arkansas too (Brooks was nickel back).

The fact that his academics weren’t vetted before offering him a scholarship boggles the mind.

Oh, there's no question and he's exactly the kind of guy this roster is lacking. The kind of guys that normally make up ST units which is either experienced depth guys who've been around a few years but are maybe overshadowed by more talented players OR young studs who may not be ready to be an every down player. Foucha will have an impact from the jump and as the roster continues to fill out with more guys like him, things will only continue to improve. Alot of the breakdowns we are seeing is simply because of a roster and personnel issue right now.

If he is healthy I would immediately put him in on special teams!! We need some bodies that can make some tackles. Opposing teams are consistently starting drives on the 50 yard line.
