I dunno, maybe hold off unless it's just a burning desire to watch it again.

He hasn't seen Rogue One, so he doesn't know Andor dies in it. There's still another season, you can let him continue to enjoy it without knowing what happens to the guy. Sometimes, knowing a character will die causes a fan/viewer/reader to disconnect from that character some.
One of the things I hate the most about the sequel movies- I hate that Han and Luke died, and how. I'd much prefer not knowing that, and just continue to have their adventures.

Also, while Rogue One was ok, it wasn't the quality that Andor (the show) has been, and kind of focuses more on Jen Urso. I know the show is only around because of that movie, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the series every time, it's MUCH better.

Don’t think that affected anyone that enjoyed this show.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Last time we saw Luke he was training Grogu. Last time we saw General Han Solo he was being awarded some medal for helping defeat the empire.

He already got spoiled on it by a coworker. When he mentioned we were watching Andor he was like “That dude that dies at the end of Rogue One? Not sure why they’re doing a show on a guy that dies.”.

fricker.
