Can't wait for Season 2!
I think it helps that they have a finite amount of time they can cover before Rogue One.
That said, it was an excellent show. We just finished it today. I really, really enjoyed the nuances and the building up Andor's background.
The SO hasn't seen Rogue One so he doesn't know what happens and I'm looking forward to rewatching that this week with him. I suspect it's going to make it even more emotional than it was the first go-round.

He hasn't seen Rogue One, so he doesn't know Andor dies in it. There's still another season, you can let him continue to enjoy it without knowing what happens to the guy. Sometimes, knowing a character will die causes a fan/viewer/reader to disconnect from that character some.
One of the things I hate the most about the sequel movies- I hate that Han and Luke died, and how. I'd much prefer not knowing that, and just continue to have their adventures.
Also, while Rogue One was ok, it wasn't the quality that Andor (the show) has been, and kind of focuses more on Jen Urso. I know the show is only around because of that movie, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the series every time, it's MUCH better.
