I don't know anyone who has ever done it, but have heard shots coming from behind the burned out bridge. I can't even find the regulations on it.

Indian Creek falls within the Alexander State Forest WMA so that's where you need to look for regs. You can't set up on the recreation area so be sure to check the map and know the boundaries.

We hiked down the power line on the north side and tried to hunt that swamp. There’s about 3 foot of water and 2 foot of compression from all the cypress leaves and other debris. Saw a few woodies but not worth the huffing and puffing. Plus there weren’t many holes in the canopy. Beautiful place but won’t be going back. Not sure if you can hunt the main lake.

I know a few guys that hunt out there regularly, haven’t killed much so far. And we have had better days, numbers wise, than we have in a long time in Cenla.
