John Illesley and Pick Withers/Terry Williams of Dire Straits.
Very solid.

This is a rough one, I feel like the obvious ones aren't underrated. Kyle and Pitre is a good one. I guess Duff and Adler.

I like how Led Zeppelin’s rhythm section is underrated on here

My personal fave post:
quote:

Roger Waters and Nick Mason as well as Neil Peart and Geddy Lee were among the best Bass/Drum line ups but definitely not underrated
So why mention them?

"Keith Moon and John Entwhistle were one of the all time great rhythm sections they were definitely not underrated so they don't belong in this thread I'm sorry for bringing them up forget I said anything."

Bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz of Stone Temple Pilots are exceptionally good at what they do.

I disagree, DeLeo is amazing but Kretz is average. I love STP but he doesn't get attention as a really good drummer for a reason.

Colin Greenwood and Phil Selway from Radiohead. Those guys can hold a groove while chaos ensues around them as well as anyone else.
