People make way too big of a deal out of the post game traffic for the most part. Yes it does suck and I’ve had a couple really bad experiences over the years.
Just got to relax put it on 98.1 and listen to the postgame show. Talk about the game and enjoy the extra time with family and friends.

It’s an event with 150+ thousand people all leaving at the same time with very limited ways in and out. I don’t get why people think that traffic is just supposed to be fine.

quote:. Yep, what I always do is chill and listen to postgame. When Charlie come on 98.1 is when I get on the road and I have never had a issue. Most of the time traffic has died before that and I get going earlier

I’ve never let traffic deter me. But last year it took us 4 hours to get back to New Orleans after the Auburn game. I’d be lying if that doesn’t weigh in the back of my mind when I’m trying to decide whether to go to a game or not.
