Paulaner, Veltins, Einbecker, Bitburger, and Konig all make great German pils that are relatively available across the US, including Louisiana and the gulf coast.

I was only able to find this while living in NJ years ago, but Rothaus Tannenzapfle Pils is a top 5 best beer ever tasted for me.

This shows up from time to time at a local Chevron. I often pop in just to see if it's there.

That Licher Pils was my staple drink when I was stationed in Germany. Every now and again you can find it at Aldi's

Maybe I'm wrong, but White Beer isn't considered a Pils...

28W. It's like a damn liquor store back in there. The one by Menard actually had Blanton's and Weller SR on the shelf once, but I was warned by management of the availability. Never seen it other than that one day. Heath keeps all that stuff in his back office.

Local: Wiseacre Italian Pilsner
Import: The GOAT, Pilsner Urquel. Sometimes you get lucky and find fresh, unfiltered kegs around and it's like drinking nectar from the gods.

Yea, the guy that owns the chevrons is into whiskey. they are my go to for bourbon. I've gotten 2 Blanton's in the last year and a few eagle rare. Never seen Weller
