BYU bitched out and took long enough that the freaks on twitter and reddit have long moved on but will always remember the time racist BYU fans attacked a black Duke player.
You have to do this the moment the claim is made. The longer you wait the more damage is done and never reversed.

I think they took their time to ensure due diligence before making that official statement. They probably encouraged all fans to submit cell phone footage. They also scoured every second of any audio/video broadcast as well as any recordings from the program's staff(coaches tape).
I think it would be worse to make that official statement and then a video clip comes out on TMZ making the school look really stupid .
Just a thought.
Oh and a second Thought: Dawn Staley frickin sucks not only for prematurely canceling their basketball games with BYU But also for being a race baiting bitch accusing LSU of running off Nikki Fargas(Caldwell) b/c she was black.
