Troy is a FBS school. Different league then FCS. Also the SWAC is horrible in the FCS.

Troy is a D1-FBS school like LSU. Southern is D1-FCS. Meaning they play for an entirely different championship. Most sportsbooks have LSU favored by around 40 points against Southern. If Southern beat LSU it would easily be one of the greatest upsets in college football history. Michigan was only a 33 point favorite over App State in 2008. Very unlikely, and very different than losing to Troy.
