Yet another imbecile chimes in..
It's a run pass option so the QB is on the move and can either hand it off to the RB, Run, or pass genius. It makes the defense commit to something as opposed to all out bull rushing the QB on straight drop backs.

You need to educate yourself on football. Don't comment on something you know nothing about. You're just showing your arse now. RPOs have nothing to do with running QBs. It can add an additional layer to the RPO WITH running QB that's about it but it's definitely not what you think it is. You don't need a running QB for RPOs.
