Gall stones -----> Gall bladder removal ----> Pancreatitis.

Every step of that two week sucked and it still sucks 2 years later. Never let them take your gall bladder out if you can fight it

2009 Flu. Worst I’ve ever had. Fever hit 104.5. Felt like I was dying.

Was that a bed side reading or did the lab perform dilutions to get that result? Most meters don't know what is going on after 400-600

Got food poisoning from Toup’s Meatery (which I used To really like)

Hugging the toilet for 36 hours and then the runs for the rest of the week.

Really rough.

Was in Costa Rica for 5 days. On our last day I had a Bloody Mary, with ice before we headed to the airport.

After getting back to NOLA, 24 hours later I became deathly I’ll.

Montezuma’s Revenge, I literally wanted to put a bullet in my head for 2 days.

I don't know what method they used, all I know is, that was at the hospital, after blood was taken. The doctor at the hospital told me the number, and my regular doctor confirmed that number to me weeks later from looking at the info from my hospital stay. Both of the doctors said that they had never seen blood sugar that high before.

It’s crazy how much objectively worse this was than Covid, except we had a democrat in office, so not as big a deal

My dance moves at a Class Reunion in ‘89.

Still talked about with awe by those fortunate enough to have witnessed it, Jehovah.

Hyperemesis gravidarum with my oldest. Puking violently all day every day for about 6 months. I dropped below 100 lbs and was hospitalized 3 times for it. This was before Zofran was invented.

If that was tested in a lab they diluted your blood and calculated the value. That is pretty darn high, after 2000 they report it as >2000 and won't give a value. The regular tests max out a 600.

Acute Diverticulitis at age 34... put me down for 3 weeks

Felt like I was being stabbed and the knife was slowly rotating... worst pain I've ever felt... ended up naked and crying in the fetal position on the bathroom floor before I was admitted to the ER... I was tough, but not nearly tough enough for that

It took 3 rounds of morphine before I finally calmed down enough to let the doctors do their work.. came really damn close to rupturing my colon and having to shite in a bag for the rest of my life

frick that shite!! I wouldn't wish that on anyone!!

Yeah, the number is high enough to put someone into a diabetic coma, more than twice over. Had no idea I was diabetic until this incident. This happened this past July 4th weekend, now I take Lantus every day.
