Terrible idea. Can anyone really argue that the best teams haven’t won since the 4 team playoff was put in place?
There’s almost always 3 really good teams and one stinker.

Then at the very least the final four should be a lot more exciting than the current four-team playoff format, because the best four teams will be there, instead of the best three with one stinker who got in by default, because they were the conference champion with the perceived “better resume.”
