Interesting that he said Converse is going to be the field corner. I assumed he would just follow the 1.

I usually thing that teams that deploy their corners using field and boundary put the lock-down guy on the boundary to take away the lower hanging fruit. Says alot about how he feels about Cody Dickerson with him playing the boundary side.

Besh is a good kid and all, but that WR room is stacked with talent. He’s going to have to fight hard for reps.

I don’t like the fact that Jack Bech isn’t talked about more considering what a great football player he is. He may not be the fastest or the biggest, but he is consistently open and has great hands. I want him on the field an equal amount of time as every receiver not named Boutte. That includes Nabors.

. This is ridiculous. “I don’t like the fact” is either total sarcasm or a melt. If it’s sarcasm, props! Nice troll. If it’s a melt, GTFO. You think Kelly doesn’t want to win? And who gives a shite who he talks about? We haven’t played a game.

For the first time since 2005 the Tigers have an actual head coach and not a guy who can just recruit well and rely on talent and coordinators to see him through.

Miles gets shite on, but he was damn good until Jarrett Lee's interception streak broke him.

I've said this a few times but I'm say it again. I could listen to brian Kelly talk about building the lsu football program all day.

It's like he actually wants his fan base to be knowledgeable, while also being excited

Sorry I don’t believe Les Miles was ever a good coach. With his old time 3 yards in a cloud of dust philosophy. Then practicing the team so hard until they have no legs, there was nothing good about that man other than he could recruit and chase skirts

This is at least the second time I heard him make a comment about "choosing to be confident" or similar language. That sounds all well and good until our guys get punched in the mouth. (Maybe I should post this in the Unpopular Opinions thread.)

Following the 1 is not normal from a schematic stand point. Causes a lot of confusion on the back end. Makes sense that he would be to the field side with the most ground to cover.

We don’t have anything approaching a lockdown guy.

I love how he emphasized how prepared the team was for FSU. Us fans see it and think they’ve been preparing for a week, but he went out of his way to say that the team has been learning FSU since the spring. That was very comforting to me. He didn’t seem surprised by their rushing success at all.
