Tipping in restaurants. Why should I pay part of this employee’s salary. They don’t tip in Europe.

Starting wage in Europe for servers is anywhere from 10 to 28 dollars and hour. Mention doing that here and you'll get yelled at for being a dirty communist.

Waiters and waitresses in Europe are paid good money and have healthcare. It’s a normal decent paying job over there unlike here so they don’t expect tips.
