The material used for EV batteries is largely controlled by our geopolitical and economic enemy (China).
Also, the mining processes needed to get the materials are ecologically destructive.
This EV push is destructive to middle class America in so many ways.
A grid that can't handle heavy a/c usage is supposed to charge literally millions of electric cars?
Most Americans will be priced out.
They want you concentrated in cities, using public transportation, and dependent on centralized authority.
