So many factors from dynamic loft, sole, center of gravity, shafts etc...
I hit everything club high, always have, doesn't matter if it's a blade or super game improvement.
Golf is a game of skill and confidence. What looks good can equal confidence in pulling off the shot.
I never been a fan of GolfTec or Club Champion as a whole, but sometimes you happen to get a good fitter with integrity.

Speaking of sole, he wouldn’t have gotten a good feel for any differences off a mat. Getting the right fit for an amateur isn’t easy. People should take their time with it. If your only way to get numbers is indoors, that’s fine. But you should also try to demo sets as well and take them out on real grass. Outdoor fittings are almost impossible because most places use range balls and it creates so much bad data and feedback. A combination of both with some time on the course is the only real option for people like us… and patience.
