re: Club fitting

This is Golftec and the guy is saying an iron head doesn’t “fit” his swing. No mention of loft/lie or shaft which play a much larger role in a swing fitting than the head which is mostly for forgiveness, feel, and looks. He also said this guy couldn’t find anything to beat RBZ woods. I also find that suspect. Golftec has been known to be a BS shop. Prey on the naive by putting them in stronger lofts and claim it’s a better fit. By showing distance comparisons when the difference is a 34° 7i and a 28° 7i.

If he’s happy, more power to him. But it’s likely he could have gotten much more for the money elsewhere.

ETA: Golftec employees are also OEM staffers and try to push specific products regardless of fit. Good chance this guy was a TM staffer.
