If you know going into it you have to make sure you know what you want them to do exactly, stay on them and try to get clear time lines / payment schedules I’d guess just a cover would be fine.

He did a patio cover for me, tied one side into the roof, the other side just let hang over the roof (patio higher than that part of down slip of the roof) and put up a gutter and it still pisses me off to this day.
