I think this is accurate through Western eyes. Material possessions, standard of living, medicine etc.. there's no comparison to be made. But are they really better off when it comes to families and morals and things that make a society work? We talk about the collapse of the black family here and all of the detrimental effects it has, as we should. Sub-Saharan Africa is far from perfect in this area but they're light years ahead of where black America finds itself currently.
