Honestly I’m more nervous about this than the QB battle. Wtf happened to all these P5 transfers that can’t beat out a McNeese guy?

Maybe this guy is just really good. He put on 30lbs of muscle and Frank Wilson asked him to come here after coaching him at Mcneese. You have to trust Frank as a talent evaluator! I’m excited to see what he can do

The biggest thing from todays practice is that LSU is at practice while FSU plays Duquesne

Therefore LSU will get its arse beat next week

That’s a good thing man. That was the first dude that came with Frank. He was a stud plagued by injuries. Don’t buy too much into the school

There are players in the NFL from small colleges.
If he beats out SEC Starters, and shuts down Boutte in practice, why would you worry.

What if the McNeese guy is actually pretty good?

Shorts will not be the one leaving on that rotation. It will be Frazier.

He has a mild ankle sprain supposedly. Doesn’t seem serious at all and will be a full go next week according the pay sites

Not really surprising considering wire started last year. They’re basically saying wire at T is better than shorts at G.

What they’re also saying is Bradford is a much better guard than Shorts, but the drop off at T between Bradford and Wire isn’t as great as it is at guard.

Only advantage that Florida state has is game Time prep. Let’s face us Practicing against each other is way better than the nobody Florida State plays

Don't be surprised if Emery Jones isn't starting before the Bama game even if the line is injury free all season.

And you now have a singlular trusted replacement for the entire right side of your line should your G or T become injured,

We have also been practicing for FSU since Wednesday and they won't be fully locked on LSU until tomorrow

Richardson was 6ft and under 170 pounds when Frank brought him to LSU with him. Says to me the kid had a ton of talent but lacked the physicality to be on anyone other thank Frank’s radar. Now that he has put on 20 to 25 pounds of muscle, we are seeing a kid make the most of his opportunity. Considering his competition, I think the kid is playing his tail off.

They must like Wires pass pro more at OT, I know AB struggled at that. They must also like ABs physicality at G. We should have 2 good back up Gs in Shorts and Martinez. AB could slide back out to RT if Wire goes down. We really need Campbell and Dellinger to stay healthy

Having guys like Shorts and Martinez who have game experience (especially Shorts) next up off the bench is a good thing. As long as Dellinger stays healthy and does well at center, we can probably shuffle around a guy getting knicked up or needed a drive off across the other 4 spots here and there.

How does someone in the media post practice notes and say nothing about the QBs? Give the people what they want.
