The Ford EV's are apparently being built in Mexico as well.
They put in the "Inflation bill" (Green new world bill is more accurate) that the cars need to be built in North America. Not the US.

I am currently on a road trip in the NE and you wouldn't believe the number of EV's up here. They have these "service centers" off the interstate with massive banks of chargers and they are all full with people waiting every time I pulled in over the last four days. I laughed as I filled up and left. People waiting hours to recharge their car. LoL

I really do hope a market of nice but old school ICE car companies pop up from all of this. I would buy cars that aren't full of tech but nicely done. Back to the basics before all the crazy tech.
